So when Avast thinks mbam.exe is a virus, it makes the mbam scan stuck, so I had a look at what MBAM was currently scanning because its stuck: Its the same as before even though I added exclusions to the MBAM folder to the File System Shield! Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbam.exe Okay, so I thought everything is fine now and started another MBAM Threat Scan BUT after a while Avast popped up another "Virus Found" message! So I added C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\* as an exclusion to the Avast File System Shield and added *.* as an exclusion to the Avast Web Shield. I just did the program update for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware FREE and am trying to do a Threat Scan but Avast popped up telling me mbam.exe is Win64:Evo-gen and it was preventing MBAM from completing scan, so i thought "Okay, false-positive, I'll just add some exclusions to Avast".
